Well worn Filofax York personal size in tan

I love this binder. It has worn so well over many many years and still has plenty of wear left. Produced between 1993 and 1998, these were one of the magnificent binders that made Filofax what it was. I wish they still produced these models in the same leather. I am now using pocket size but if I weren’t, I would be using this one right now.

It is photographed with two older epoca ballograf pens, which are my absolute favourite. I always have a few in the bottom of my handbag

  1. This is absolutely gorgeous! The York was my dream Filofax when I first stumbled onto them in the late 90’s. Way out of my budget at the time, and as it usually is, now that I can afford it they’re so hard to find. I did manage to splurge on a pocket Hamilton at that time and I still have it. I managed to score a lovely personal Hamilton on eBay a couple years ago – Pocket is too small for me now, but I have never been able to part with my first one.

  2. I love the colour, Janet. I have a couple of A5s and two Deskfaxes in a similar tone. The old ones made with English or Scottish leather wear so well, and look better as they age.
