I love this “letter from a feral cat”. If I could find a repo of it that wasn’t blurred I’d have it enlarged to a 11×14 and framed. Then hang it next to my desk. I’m no sissy britches , but this makes me tear up when I read it. (I’ve fed and cared for a few ferals along the way in my long life). Thanks for showing it. Douglas in Georgia.
How sad this is! 😢 I cried with it. I feed two feral cats. And with the weather conditions in Louisiana it is really hard. So hot in summer and so cold in winter. One I have been feeding since 2020 and I have seen him grow up.
Oh gosh, this made me tear up. My kids and I follow several foster kitten accounts on Instagram, and several of them have resident ferals, and recently my son has been feeding one that lives in the woods behind his apartment complex. LOVE this.
I am glad you enjoyed it!
What a blessed poem. The best Feral Cat poem out there on the web! Gave me a lump in my throat reading it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem, God bless!
Beautiful!! My husband took care of 8 feral cats for at least 10 to 15 years. He built them houses and gave them blankets and fed them 3 times a day. The last 2 passed away a month ago.
A tear came to my eye reading this. I promise to be more aware of them and do what I can to help them make it with us a bit longer.
Love this poem
