I am going to miss Loki so much. He was part of a hoarding case thirteen years ago. Of the dogs, 22 puppies were put down, but the 23rd puppy, Loki (a wolf hybrid) escaped and lived in the wild for three years, with Bonnie Dawson looking after him from a distance. After a shoot-to-kill order was placed on him by the authorities, she captured him with the help of Eldad Hagar, slowly tamed him and he lived with her for ten wonderful years. He had a spacious run, loads of long walks, the run of the house, lots of animal friends, and a wonderful life. He died in her arms on Sunday at the age of 13, after surgery complications. My heart is broken for Loki, but mainly for Bonnie who loved him with all her heart.
