I got this Valentino Garavani A5 notebook cover on eBay for a great price. Now I want to have holes punched and eyelets placed top and bottom so I can string it and use it as a traveler’s notebook. It would also be perfect as a Hobonichi Cousin cover
OH, don’t punch holes in that lovely cover! Do this: get a plastic folder cover (A4 size, of a fairly substantial plastic) and cut a piece out of it that will fit inside the outer cover slide into the side pockets. Punch the required holes/notches in that plastic piece and put your elastics on that. Bonus, the inner plastic cover gives a little support to the pretty outer cover.
