This little goodie was in a box of miscellaneous notebooks at Van Der Spek when Steve and I were there last week. It is A6 size and made of what looks like red Janet Leather. The wrap feature means that the edges are protected if you have it in a bag or pocket. It has sewn binding and cream blank pages.
The leather is so nice and bright and pretty!
Van Der Spek can cover bound book blocks, calendars, books, journals and notebooks of your choice in your favourite leather. If you would like Van Der Spek to provide the book block, the notebooks are usually made using standard uncased book blocks in three sizes. You can normally choose lined or unlined in all sizes except A4 which only comes unlined.
This is a gorgeous notebook covered in Janet Leather – from the first ever batch of Janet Leather that I discovered all those years ago hidden way back on a shelf – that Mr Van Der Spek made on the spot for me in 2014. It was made of two book blocks so is nice and thick. I used it until it was about 75% full and it lasted really really well.
