I love this notebook from AV Workshop on Etsy! It is the gorgeous purple/grey combination that I love. If there are multiple colours of something, purple and black are always my first choices. But whenever I do choose grey – in handbags, clothes, furnishngs – I always love how it is a staple colour, a neutral, but much softer than black and more versatile than navy blue. It goes with almost everything and is flattering to just about every skin tone.
I had no intention of buying this one but every time I logged into Etsy and looked at what my favourite sellers had, this one was smiling at me.
So here it is! If I can part with it, it is going to be a Christmas gift for a special friend who has admired my green and purple ones but who is too afraid to try internet shopping.
Each of Svetlana’s notebooks is different and thus totally unique. The presence or absence of pebbles or grain in the leather, rivets on corners or spine, bookmark or clasps. The endpapers are also lovely, as are the headbands.
I can recommend AV Workshop because the service and shipping is lightning fast and Svetlana is always very quick to answer questions and very accommodating about custom requests. The price is extremely reasonable, which is probably why I am a repeat customer.
In real life this one is a true grey – kind of like a Modalu Pippa in Shark, or a mushroom.
