Because Sweden has summer holidays in July (rather than August like the rest of the EU), my teaching ended for the term on Friday and from now until the end of the summer I will be translating. I generally have big translation jobs to do over the summer. Last year it was a 250 page report for the OECD and this year it is a 500 page website.
Regarding my blog, I usually take a day over the weekend to schedule posts for the upcoming week but I am now at the end of my scheduled posts. I will continue to update the blog once or twice daily when I find something to share but otherwise I may skip a couple of days.
I can generally work very hard for extended periods but at times my nervous energy comes to an end and I need to recharge by cutting back on things or taking a few days off. I catch up on my reading and my chores (sorting out my wardrobe, taking things to the charity shop, putting things up for sale)
I hope all my readers are having a great summer (or winter if you are in the Southern Hemisphere). Whatever kind of weather you like, I hope you are having it!
