I’ve been writing my vertical lines marking a time period with the little horizontal parts going right, but I think I’ll do it left (blocking in the actual times) instead from now on.
Me too. I am amazed at the efforts of some to decorate their Filofaxes. I am too busy to do this, although I often admire the artistry. I use my Filos for various tasks: an A5 for notes on Jane Austen; an A4 for general literary research notes and to do list; another A5 as general to dos, diary and list of contacts etc; another deskfax for music lists, todos for music practice etc ( I play bassoon and bass recorder); a Flex for various stuff for my readers’ group; and finally a robust old personal size pocket ranger as my coin and note purse. So sometimes I have two Filos in my bag, although I usually just grab the one I need for that day. Oh, I forgot I attend lectures at my local museum and that activity has its own vintage deskfax. I sometimes wish I could use just one Filofax, but then I wouldn’t have an excuse to use all the different colours a finishes I have. Additionally, Filofax has never made a binder with large enough rings to take that lot.
I envy you for being able to ise a wertical diary. I wouls never be able to write all my appointments in those columns. I use A5 Wo2P for work and my pages look really full from 7.30 am to 8 pm. I also need to use a personal WO2P for private appointments/to dos/ reminder as l can’t fit everything in the A5.
