Gorgeous collection! The Gillio Aqua Scorpion is STUNNING!!! I’m new to the Gillio binders and have always wondered: is Gillio and Gigliodoro the same or two different companies? I see the binders stamped with one name or the other and both referred to as Gillio sometimes while other times not.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Jody
Its the same company – Gigliodoro is the older name.
Ahhh, got it! Thanks Janet.
Thank you for sharing some of your collection with us! My collection hovers around the same number, but I tend to go for more of the low end priced unusual binders (easier to find on this side of the pond) and Franklin Coveys.
jaw dropping (as I try not to turn green)….
Thank you😊
Since buying a customized VDS binder from the Facebook page, I have been very tempted by the Touch Me. The leather seems so nice. I love soft and bendable binders, but not extremely floppy ones. Would you say the Touch Me is that kind of floppy? Perhaps compared to the Kensingtons or Maldens?
It has no stiffener in it but because of the full length back pocket it has more sturdiness to the covers than the Malden or the Kensington, due to the double layer of leather.
I saw that Berluti binder a while ago and fell in love. All I need to do now is win the lottery 😉
Do you display them?
I have some on a shelf but the rest are in boxes. I rotate my way through them, changing binders every few weeks.
I love my Gillio Aqua Skorpion. I know I will never be able to use it properly as it will die, but I love it to much to send it back 🙂
I know exactly how you feel! Mine crumbled so quickly I had no choice, which was probably a good thing!
