On Wednesday 23rd July, my birthday, I met Rita and Sharon and we spent the day together. It was fantastic. We met in Starbucks at Selfridges where we sat for ages and ages looking at our different binders and (in my case) opening fantastic birthday presents. From Rita and Sharon I received a beautiful butterfly binder with a pen with insects all over it as well as stickers, makeup brushes, makeup brush roll and eyeliners. I was in seventh heaven. I on the other hand had brought some Hobonichi goodies and a teacher’s Filofax which Rita and Sharon bought from me, giving me lovely spending lolly!
We then left Selfridges, but not before eating scrumptious Lola’s cupcakes, and went to JP Books where we all succumbed to the lure of Midori. Among our purchases were pens, notebooks, covers, stickers, cards, pen holders and larger Midori notebooks which I will review in a separate article.
After that we went to lunch at a nearby Italian restaurant (yum) where we sat for hours, nattering away. After that Sharon left us to meet another friend for a meal and Rita and I went to Covent Garden where we looked at TKMaxx (which I adore) and Kate Spade. We also went into various Boots and I bought some of the products which Rita recommended (reviews to come)
All in all a wonderful day. It was fantastic to see so many Akiko binders in one place. My absolute favorites were the black rose one which belongs to Rita, and the Celestial one, which belongs to Sharon.
Thank you Rita and Sharon for the most amazing day. We have to do it again!

Here are clearer photographs of binders that were on the table.
All of them are lovely. I really like the grey one with the subtle design.
Don’t know who owns the purple with blue, but that is my fav. What a stunning binder.
That is mine and it is really gorgeous!
What a lovely day! Thank you for sharing.
*Sighs happily*. It was such a lovely day – I really hope we can do it again next time you’re over! And look at all those lovely goodies!
