Mulberry Roxannes a multiplying

Here are the Roxannes –  in Oak Darwin Darwin. I really love this model. It has been my absolute favourite since I saw a really battered one opposite me on the tube one day. Previously I had considered this model too much like things that were sold at village fêtes.

The Darwin Roxanne was made from 2005 to 2006/7.  My Darwin at the front to the left was bought new at Heathrow Duty Free in 2006. The Romilly and the other Roxanne were bought pre-loved so I do not know how old they are.

I wanted to thank Emi so much for this Roxanne. I was so afraid that I would never ever be able to replace mine but now I have another one! I am so keen to see how it ages and how the patina develops!

With Mulberry leather you can see the beautiful patina that develops with regular use. I have never moisturized any of my Darwin bags and they look all the better for it, I think.

  2. Hi Janet, I would love to find one of these bags, I have looked on ebay and I can’t find one! You are so lucky! Beautiful Bags!!!

  3. I almost bought a Roxanne the minute I walked into a beautiful shop I used to visit in Nottingham, I was going to be made redundant from my job which I wasn’t enjoying at the time and really thought I would like something special that I would have and use for a long time. I went back the next week and thought it was beautiful a little heavy but I knew if I bought it I would use it for many years to come. However while in the shop I started to feel a little warm and left for some fresh air…apologising to the assistants saying I would be back That evening I took a pregnancy test that showed positive and instead of a beautiful bag I bought something practical for storing nappies/ diapers etc. I did get a beautiful daughter six months later but I sometimes think about the bag…
