Who copied who?

I have a black version of the bracelet below which purports to be an original design by a Swedish artist (who shall remain nameless here). I bought it at Designtorget, where it is still for sale.

I was therefore rather disturbed to see this design on the Succes planner site

What happened here?

  1. On the top of your bracelet silver design, there is a “cap”. On the agenda, there is no cap. It could be blatant copying or maybe the bracelet designer gave/sold/licensed the design. Is there any mention of the “artist” on the agenda website? Are the agendas leather or pvc – hard to tell from the photo? It would annoy me also.

    1. I think what probably happened is that a mass manufacturer of buckles had these going so people just bunged them on their designs. I am just acid because I was told that these buckles were handmade by the designer which is clearly not the case.
