Reveal of the new Filofaxes Part 2

Yesterday when I went to my local department store, the sales associate gave me a small oral presentation of the new models, though there seem to be a little confusion about certain of them – he thought there may be new colours of the Flex. There are often different selections between countries – the Pennybridge was only sold in Sweden to start with. Nowadays I think it is widely available.

The fair is in in the Netherlands this weekend and all Filofax samples and catalogues will be there for hundreds of people who will be intending. If you are in a position to do so, please go and take lots of pictures so that we can live vicariously through you.

In a rather wonderful conclusion, yesterday Filofax invited Christophe Burm of Filofax Benelux to help them in the future with their social media marketing approach:-) I’m glad to hear that they take Facebook etc seriously. Before this, Christophe was the Marketing Director of a very very large bank so he knows his marketing! His company, Group 4p is the distributor of other high end luxury stationery products as well.

Me, I am just a journalist to the bone. I have no affiliation with any company whatsoever. I write about companies as a customer, for my readers who are also customers. I praise good service in my blog to help other patrons find good products and retailers, but I try not to name and shame – I just don’t write about companies or products that have given me grief in any way.

  1. Hi, In Dec 2014 I had my bag stolen and in it was my 2year old Alice Temperley Guinea Filofax. I have tried everywhere to replace but no one seems to stock them anymore. Mine was a Anniversary gift and I know they really came down in prices. I am not on any social media sites.Do you have any idea where their might be one looking for a good home.
    Many many thanks.

    1. You don’t see them very often but they do come up in Facebook groups fairly regularly. There is an Affair for sale in one at the moment so I would guess a Guinea will come up soon. Outside of that if you really are not up for social media, I reckon eBay is your best bet. Set up a permanent search for it and I am sure one will come up soon enough. My sympathies on your bag been stolen – it is so traumatic and the worst part is not the money that is gone but the loss of all the special things and the hassle of replacing stuff…xx
