A5 Filofax Belmont which is winging its way to me from the Netherlands. I had been hunting for this model for ages. The leather on these models is wonderful. They do come up now and then on eBay and other local sites but you need to be quick.
A5 Brown Charleston – this one is being sent to me for review. I bought one but when I got it home I found that the ring mechanism had come away from the spine of the binder. I returned it for repair but then it somehow got lost between Filofax Sweden and the shop where I bought it. Despite trying to track it down, in the end I accepted a refund.
This binder has smaller rings than I usually use, and a short strap. So no overstuffing. I shall be using it for a project which starts on 1 January.
Brown Mock Croc Aspinal A5 Five Year Diary – I have a purple one at the moment but it is almost full so this one is for 2014 and beyond. The paper is beautiful – a gorgeous heavy cream with subtle brown text. This one was given to me as a gift.
Journal 10+ with leather cover. This is a 10+ year diary with only four lines for each day. This allows you to write a short description of your day. Because I don’t journal each day I think this will be ideal for things like temperature, weather, events, birthdays. I say 10+ because it actually runs over 11 years so you can start in the middle of a year if you want. They are not pricey.
