I noticed you put an “AH” on the end of pronunciations for Oscar and Victor. In the united states, the R is not silent. I’m also curious, then, if you pornounce your last name without the R. I don’t believe the pronunciations you give for Oscar and Victor are correct for most people, even if it is pronounced that way in some places. Also, the H in Whiskey is also not silent. Hope this helps 🙂
I use the non-rhotic R myself, as do the pronunciation alphabets I usually use, because RP British English is the official version of European Union English, and of Sweden, where I work. American English is very much a don’t in many workplaces, even today. While I do use the non-rhotic R in English, I do pronounce other things differently due to my accent. When it comes to charts though, they are mostly in RP British English as this is the standard to which I am required to work.
