Paul Smith Large Swirl Agenda in leather

Gorgeous Paul Smith Swirl Agenda in the large size. Stunning and very different. Filofax should try something like this. A collaboration with a famous textile designer like Cecilia Birtwell for example.

This is a lovely binder. The leather on the inside is a beautiful smooth mushroom leather with the credit card slot layout echoing the swirl theme. It feels as soft as silk and smooth as butter.

The Swirls are lovely vibrant yet not too loud. The leather is grained and soft. There are two studs on the clasp allowing the strap to be adjusted according to how much or little you have in your binder.

I can really recommend this beauty!

  1. Hi Janet. In the good old days, they used to. Paul Smith was one of the first (possibly THE first) to do a bespoke design, apart from the top-end stores having their own name embossed in leather, eg Harrods of London and Barnaby’s in New York. I couldn’t afford one at the time, but about ten years later, I bought a used Paul Smith Winchester. It was vlack, had his name and logo in gold, but as is his flair, he had subtle branding on it too. The inside of the pockets was lined with his trademark stripes. I got rid of it ages ago but you still see them pop up on ebay. One recently went for 40 pounds sterling. I was slightly tempted but then realised I’d only be bidding from nostalgia, and I don’t need extra binders. I did find a beautiful Tejus in Brown, with Barnaby’s of New York stamped inside. It will be a “starting University” present for my nephew.
