In Australia Father’s Day is the first Sunday in September, which is 9 months before Mother’s Day
I was unaware that the UK is the only country (along with Ireland) to have Mothers Day in Lent. To me this makes more sense than having it in May, since Fathers Day should always be 9 months ahead of Mothers Day.
