There is an apartment on a higher floor than ours for sale at the moment. It is the same size as ours, but has an even better view.
You can see the working cement factory on the opposite side of the canal, and to the right the lock between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren. People live on the large boats on our side of the canal.
This is the view on the other side. Over time, I have developed discomfort with heights like this so I prefer living on the second floor. Our balcony has sliding glass panels, which this one doesn’t, and netting for the cats. But I would never let the cats out on a balcony this high, even netted.
