Stacking rings

I have a love for delicate sterling silver bands, with or without stones. You can wear them individually or stacked. I don’t always wear my wedding rings but I feel so naked without rings on that I use delicate silver bands, stacked or alone. I also have a few that fit my middle and index finger and I can mix and match them according to outfit or mood.

I like my rings tighter rather than looser as I have big knuckles and small fingers but stackers often spin anyway. For this reason I like rings with stones to be channel set (so no poking) with stones all around the band.

I can go without a necklace or bracelet and not feel naked, but I always wear earrings and rings. My earrings are delicate hoops or studs so I can sleep in them and not have to remember to put them on. I use a lot of hand cream so often leave my fingers bare in the evenings and overnight. When I go out though, I need to feel rings on my fingers.

  1. That’s a beautiful stack. I have been at an event with my shinies these past 3 days, and suggesting exactly stacking for people who have fingers with more knuckle than flesh, or with swellings, or retention. If one has a slight variation in sizing then the rings can be shuffled for perfect comfort, and that usually also compensates for the extra sizing needed if there’s a joint issue.

  2. I don’t wear rings, but when my watch broke I used to feel naked going out without it, now it feels strange to wear a watch when I do go out but I miss having a time device (when I don’t wear one) on my wrist as my phone is bulky to keep getting out of my pocket.

    1. I felt weird wearing a watch again after Covid. It’s amazing how we get used to jewellery. Sometimes the weight of it feels like a comfort.
