The tweet below was published December 27. The user seems to have good knowledge about music in general so I am hoping against hope that it was sarcasm or irony

These, however, were real. Kanye West featured Paul McCartney on a song in 2014. The following pearls of wisdom ensued

I also saw a discussion where Nirvana fans believed that ‘The Man Who Changed the World’ was a Nirvana song that David Bowie did a cover of. Some Metallica fans also think that Whiskey in the Jar is a Metallic song rather than a cover.
To be fair, I guess that’s what happens when you get old. *Shakes fist at sky*

I have been a fan of Macca since 1962/3 and I bet he would be pleased (and amused) at the comments thinking he is about to “blow up” thanks to Ye. He plays with other musicians when they are saying something he can believe in. Take a listen to his albums with Youth (as The Fireman) and they are nothing like his normal stuff.
ha ! I had the album ‘Pat Garret and Billy the Kid’ from which ‘Knocking ….’ came; people should love their music but they should have some knowledge of it; of course, it helps if you’re a generation or two older 🙂
