We are pretty much the poor relations in our apartment block. We live in one of the most expensive areas in Sweden, but in a small (though lovely) apartment. Above us are enormous apartments, some of them comprising two floors, terraces and double balconies. They cost crazy amounts of money. So our recycling room sometimes has absolute gems in it. I have written previously about finding almost 100 items of mostly brand-new designer clothing all neatly folded for whoever wanted it.
This weekend I found a Seletti Jobby the Cat lamp in perfect condition. These lamps cost about $350 new. I have always wanted one of their cat or monkey lamps. Now I have one! It is rechargeable (the light lasts 30 hours) and you turn it on and off by touching its private ‘bits’ (clearly marked in gold)
My plans for it are to give it Santa hats, summer flower wreaths, Halloween outfits etc.
I never knew this existed until this minute. Now I need one and my life will never be the same! 🤣
I have become really fond of our Jobby. It’s so dark in the evenings now and he really brightens up our home, in more ways than one!
