I have been eyeing up the new tuxedo cat Lego build. It is rather pricey though – $140 as against $40 for the succulent set.

My bonus mom’s verandah with donkeys sheltering from the rain. My small South African town has donkeys, cows, sheep and coats roaming free. Sometimes they drink rainwater from the potholes in the roads. There is a pub called The Donkey and Pothole…

And this forgotten heart on a rainy sidewalk

Fell in love with a cat statue

Smiled at a toad abode

Admired the peonies outside our front door

Thought once again how much I love this undyed leather pocket-sized planner

And found a dark version of my favourite cream $7 H&M beach bag (which I use if I have loads of things to carry in summer). I did not buy the one below because I have several darker coloured bags, but the plain cream one has been a huge success. I bought it last year as a cheap and cheerful summer item that I could repurpose once it started to look shabby. But it still looks brand new.
