I have been using bag charms for decades. They go in and out of fashion, but I like the personal touch they give a handbag. My bags tend to be in neutral colours and plain, so a detail in a pop of colour really makes a difference.
I have various charms but tassels are my favourite. They don’t make a noise and they are nice to fiddle with.
From left to right above – a pink no-name brand and my favourite (I adore this one and would be distraught if I ever lost it); a Coach charm found at a charity shop, and a very old black Ordning och Reda one.
I love your pink tassel but I am completely crushing on your red one… I tried having a bag charm (a fluffy raven) on my Kanken backpack, but I noticed that because it was so heavy, it makes the zipper come down! (I had put it on the big zipper, because it was quite long and I didn’t want it to touch the floor too much)… I may have to do some research and look for that red one! Thank you for inspiring me!
