Ink and Paper fragrances

I wonder why these names.

None of them are for fragrancing ink or paper, or fragranced like ink and paper.
Are ink and paper considered something unusual, or newly trendy, or very simple and evocative words?

  1. I know fragrances are given names (like Poison for instance) which has no bearing on the unsuitability of the fragrance. This seems strange to me calling fragrances ink and paper when there are books which no longer smell the way they used to.
