When Fluffy died last year, Ziggy hid away for ten days. He hardly ate. It took him a while to get over the loss of his little buddy. A year later did not want the same to happen to Harley, so shortly after Ziggy passed away, we adopted little Catrick. He is still the skinniest little kitten I have ever come across, but we are feeding him up!
Catrick was used to kids, dogs, and other cats, so he was unfazed when faced by Mollie and Harley. The day after he arrived, Harley and Catrick were completely bonded. I have never seen it go so fast. Previously with my cats, it has taken anything from one week, to 8 months, to never. This was within hours.
I miss Ziggy so very very much. It hurts to even think about him. But hearts are amazing things. They expand to hold all the love they can.
He’s adorable! He looks like a mini version of my Peyton kitty.
What a poppet! And the name really made me smile.
What a perfect name for a perfect kitten! Aww!
I love the fact that the two cats bonded quickly, it does happen occasionally but usually takes a few hours or days for two cats to bond.
They’re both so sweet…I love those three photos of Harley and Catrick so close together.
