This last weekend we went out on our first ride of the season. It was sunny and (relatively) warm at 12°C. Fine bike weather if you bundle up a little.
Normally we start riding at end of April or the beginning of May so this was really early. The lakes were still frozen, snow and ice was still on the ground, and there were no leaves on the trees or flowers in the meadows (though we saw some flowers in pots when having lunch). It is going to be nice to watch nature wake up from her long winter sleep to a world without Covid restrictions. Maybe this spring and summer will be normal.
…as normal as can be with Russian aggression looming over Northern Europe.
