Thank you so much for reading me, for commenting, for all your suggestions and advice. It has meant particularly much during the last two years of uncertainty.
For myself I am okay. But I feel sorry for everyone who has missed out on their firsts (first love, first holiday abroad), their lasts (last Christmas, last birthday) and their onlies (graduation, big wedding).
I hope 2022 for you is filled with love, laughter and health. And a return to normality, while keeping parts of 2021 and 2022 that suited us (flexible working, cocooning).
Happy New Year! Or, as Megan Knight says Happy arbitrary point in the annual circumambulation of the Earth around the Sun that we in the dominant culture have deemed to be the ‘start’ of what is, by definition, without beginning or end.
And to you Janet, the best of everything for ’22 and beyond. You are a treasure. No matter what the new year brings our way, as long as you provide us with a glimpse of the bright side, and along with the smile it brings, we can live with “shit happens”, clean off our shoe and move on.
