The subject of recurring dreams about turning up for exams without studying arose in one of my classes recently. It seems that most of the students in my classes have had dreams where they arrived at an exam without preparing. Several of them said that they were also naked in these dreams.
Nudity is not involved in my ‘exam dreams’, but they always include a sense of panic about knowing that I was going to fail an exam. It is kind of frightening that this fear can follow us, in our subconscious, for the rest of our lives. How much trauma must it take for it to take root so deeply. And when you look back, exams actually counted for very little of what matters in life.
I used to have regular dreams about my teeth falling out or becoming really loose but I no longer have them. I looked it up once and it said that it meant you were dealing with great loss or change.
