Well, I bought the yellow Tretorn Wings Daypack

I bought it at 40% discount and am hoping to finally make a backpack work for me. I chose the cheery yellow in the hope that it will brighten up cold and rainy/snowy days and also work for all seasons. I didn’t want to go for black because nearly every backpack out there seems to be black, particularly the rainproof ones.

There is a clip under the flap but I will probably use the magnetic studs instead. The little white thing peeking out is a reflective strip. Good for Swedish winters.
Nice padded straps. I hate narrow nylon ones that dig into my shoulders
There is a clip for keys, an A4-sized pocket to slip papers in, a bottle holder on the one side, and several zippered pockets in various places. You can increase the size of the inside by loosening a set of poppers. Inside is a padded laptop pouch and two zippered pockets.

The only backpack I have previously really used a lot has been my Marc Jacobs Domo Biker Backpack, but it is not really big enough for A4 papers (due to the rounded shape of the backpack, the edges of A4 papers get bent) and does not have a laptop pouch. Due to the thick leather, it is also heavy. It is a lovely backpack though and I have really had a lot of use out of it.
