It was finally warm enough to go for a ride last weekend. We normally do not go out this early but it reached a balmy 7°C/44°F and we were suffering from cabin fever, so we bundled up and off we went.
I had jeans and multiple sweaters under my leathers so it was only a little chilly, and we did just a short run – 50km – but it was glorious.
Both my husband and I have been working from home for over a year. We avoid going out, apart from to the local shopping centre for groceries. So it was really nice to get out into the countryside and see horses, farm houses, lakes and get oodles of fresh air.
The one nice thing about having a motorbike is that you can travel out in the open air, picnic, and see the country without being around other people. Here’s hoping the weather is nice this summer!
