Aren’t these like…I don’t know.. hankies?

My father and all my uncles used to use hankies. Every Christmas, a very popular gift was a pack of hankies with his initial on.

My mother used to wash my dad’s hankies by putting them in a pot of water on the stove. My job was to stir the hankies with a stick to get rid of the crusties. I swore then and there I would never ever use a hankerchief.

  1. Back to square one! Yes these are hankies as we used to have in the good all times. I also have had my initials embroidered on mine and I had to change my hankies every day and spray it with perfume before putting it in my pocket.

I only started using disposable tissues when I was in my late teens and I’ve never looked back since. I still have kept all my hankies from my childhood though as they remind me so many good memories.
