I bought this leather bag when we were in Spain in 2018. You see them pretty often, and they are not expensive – about €20. I wanted to see how it would darken and wear over time. Having said that, I have not used it yet. I am going to take it out as we get to spring and the sun is shining again.
It is an interesting design because you can use it folded over or ‘unfolded’. It holds A4 paper when both folded over and straight up, and is nice and light. I had a similar Egyptian one before but the leather was much thicker and stiffer compared to this one. I want to see how the thin, light leather holds up to strain and wear – particularly the straps.
