Here are two new products I have been trying.
Bio-Oil is a South African products that I have used on and off for years. On dry patches, to prevent and reduce scars, as a pre-wash hair conditioner – you name it. So-called tissue oils are really popular in South Africa and every major brand has one. Bio-Oil, however, is the only one that has made an international breakthrough. Bio-Oil now – in Sweden anyway – have a gel which I am trying. I had a loyalty coupon so I bought it really cheaply and so far it is really nice. I have used it on my heels and hands and it has a great consistency. A tiny bit goes a long way. Retail price on this in Sweden is about $10.
The other product is Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie for thick, curly hair. I am finding this to be really nice when applied on wet hair after a shower. Once again, you only need a tiny tiny amount and it really provides moisture. It is probably intended for much curlier, drier hair than mine but for me a tiny dab really makes a difference and dampens any frizz. Any more than a tiny dab and my hair gets greasy. The tub is enormous so it will last for ages. This tub cost me about $10 on special from a local online retailer. Regular price is probably about $15
