Old time paper planning

I saw this man using a paper planner on the underground today. I asked for permission to take his photograph and asked him how he used it. The company he works for uses an electronic scheduler but he finds planning on paper more effective.

  1. I have had my first Filofax in 1982 and since then I have used a ring planner for personal planning and for work. I haven’t always been faithful to Filofax and my other loves have mostly been Mulbery, Gillio and VDS but I have never been out of a ring planner for a day.

  2. I use a Filofax everyday and have since 1994. Everything is right there before me with no batteries required. And I also continue using flip-phone. The simple things have always worked for me.

  3. I agree with this man! I’m relatively young and started work just as electronic planning started to become all the rage and yet, I stick to my guns, or rather, to my paper planners, whether Midori (inspired), Hobonichi or Filofax! Long live paper planning, the most efficient of all planning methods!
