I was struck by three gorgeous ensembles recently worn by members of royal houses.
First the Queen of Bhutan on her birthday. The colours and textures in this outfit are stunning, and they match the surroundings to perfection.
And then Queen Rania of Jordan – isn’t this dress sublime?
And finally, Princess Madeleine of Sweden at the 2017 Polar Prize Awards. I am not sure about the top, but my oh my the skirt is just sublime! Credit on pic.
Let’s not forget Rania was the one who made Elie Saab famous to us poor souls who could never afford his designs, years before the Halle Berry Oscars dress. The woman has a great style sense in her genes. She had a full decade of fashion fabulousness and for that I forgive her later tendency to look like a desperate houswife who won’t accept she ages.
