  1. I was amused to think that washing with a particular soap could reduce your waistline or whatever, and as a child I remember seeing the advert for Bile Beans, but isn’t it ironic to think that the only one that did probably work was the Lucky Strike one?

  4. Ha Ha! Love the slimming soap! Strange to think that at one time it was acceptable to advertise cigarettes as a way of slimming. I think I’ll pass on the tapeworm eueweh! But I do remember my mother using Ayds!
