My summer Clinique skin savers

I am lucky to have good skin. I have never had acne, my wrinkles could be way worse, my skin is not sensitive, and is relatively normal.

I tend to be combination with normal to dry cheeks and a slightly oily T-panel. More dry in winter, more oily in summer.

When it is really hot and humid in Stockholm, or hot and dry in Africa, my skin gets very very oily and my regular skin care routine leaves me greasy and spotty. I sweat all day, I feel grubby and grimy, so I need products that leave my skin feeling fresh and clean but not tight and stripped.

So I bring in Clinique’s Big Guns. These products are normally a bit too light and/or harsh for me but in summer they are perfect.

• Clarifying Lotion (in summer I prefer 4 but this 3 I got in a bonus gift with purchase set so I am using it)
• Dramatically Different Moisturiser (the gel for when it is very very hot, the + for if it is just hot and the cream for when it starts to cool down)
• Take the Day Off Cleanser for the end of the day when I remove my make up. In the morning I use their wash off cleanser.

I tend to buy Clinique when they have Bonus Time. You usually have to buy two products to receive a gift with purchase. Many companies pack their GWPs with products they have not been able to shift, but Clinique is very good. They tend to combine generous sizes of skincare classics with new additions to their lines, and nice makeup in their bonus time gift packs.
