In the early 1990’s a work colleague was absolutely smitten with him after watching him in Robin Hood. She even “got into” Shakespeare just to go watch him on stage! I’m no longer in contact, but I did wonder if she’s in bits.
My favourite Alan Rickman character was the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves. He totally stole the show from Morgan Freeman and Kevin Costner!
