Maybe we notice more because people are living longer and doctors are becoming better at diagnosing it. But it does seem to be very prevalent. I have decided though if I do get it (and my chances are high due to so many of my relatives having it) I am not going to suffer through treatment just to gain a few months or years.
What a week! Bowie and Rickmansworth lost to us and only 69. Two of the most fascinating performers in their fields. I have loved Alan Rickman’s work since he did Doctor Slope in “Barchester Chronicles”. Cancer seems to be an epidemic world wide, despite us putting billions into research each year, people are living longer I with it, yet more people suffer from this ghastly disease.
