A very talented friend of mine, Elisabeth (Lisa) Johansson, is having an exhibition of her work in Stockholm on Thursday but for those who are unable to attend, she has allowed me to feature some of her work.
Lisa, like me, follows her passion in the spare time she has outside of her demanding job and her family. She is supremely talented and also a warm, friendly and very kind person.
Lisa’s website is in Swedish but you can see her archives here, here, and here. You can also contact her here. If you like her work and would like to leave some encouraging words for her in the comments section, please do. I am going to send Lisa the link so she can read them too.
These are recent works that Elisabeth likes – I asked her to email them to me.
And the ones below here are my favourites from Lisa’s archives. The ones I like the best are the people in the rain. They are beautiful! I am going to own one of Lisa’s works one day if it kills me! You can see how versatile she is from all the different subjects she uses. Which are your favourites?
Stunning, atmospheric images. A very talented girl. I hope she becomes rich and famous!
This work is breathtaking. I can think of so many places in my home for several of these pieces. The lighthouse is gorgeous, and I love the outdoor café. The very first one of the couples with umbrellas hits me, too–reminds me of the home I left in New England.
I love the autumn scene with the 3 houses, it calms one down and the colours Arne soothing. And the second ohne I like are the rocks in the sea. Lovely!
These are beautiful. I love the flower ones and I also think the people in the rain one is lovely. I’ve looked at this post a couple of times already this morning. Lisa has a fantastic talent and I hope her exhibition goes well.
