This one is for Marianne K – the first one Van Der Spek has ever made with an elastic closure. It is fantastic and there is no elastic bump like in a Traveller’s Notebook because the knot is behind the ring mechanism. Thanks Marianne for letting me feature it!

I thought that too! I always loved the elastic on the domino but from what I remember it didn’t have an eyelet. Never had any problems with the elastic either.
Oh this takes my breath away!!! Is this Acacia or Acacia Nappa? I ordered a standard VDS with Acacia interior and the left side to be done the same (2 vertical creditcard pockets)… Absolutely beautiful!!!!
It’s acacia (nappa) on the inside and 6216 purple on the outside
