Sun-Star Fakus 2 Pencil Case

Fans of trompe l’oeil will love Sun-Star’s use of the art technique. This creative “trick of the eye” Fakus pencil case is basically flat, but lines have been drawn in to make it resemble a 3-D cylindrical case. The humorous trickery is reflected in the name “Fakus,” which is a combination of “fake” and “kusu,” a Japanese onomatopoeia for laughter. The drawn-in fake compartments will make you do double-takes, and you might accidentally tug on the fake pocket! Fortunately, there is also a non-fake outer pocket and a main zippered compartment for your pens and accessories. The case is made of cotton and polyester.
