totally right! never seen such beautifull books before! too bad they are way too expensive for me 🙁
Good afternoon, and God bless! I happened upon this website when looking up cover inspiration for my first book rebinding, a moderately damaged and totally disbound 1883 edition of Errors’ Chains: How Forged And Broken by Frank S. Dobbins. Not wanting to “stick with” a traditional restorative process and breathe life back into an old design, I figured adding a little originality couldn’t hurt.
I must ask, given the quality of the books being prepared by AlexLibris, where do you find your greatest inspiration for such unique designs? I would love some tips if whenever you can find the time.
Wow – this man is a genius. It must take him months just to make one book.
I’m amazed, both at the things you find out about, and the work, dedication and artistry in these bookcovers and other works. Breathtaking!
Glad you like them Carol – hand bound books are my passion!
Gorgeous!
