I wrote about my Lush bags before here. Today I am posting some more photographs of my Lush version of the Rainbow Spy one. I really wanted a Fendi Rainbow Spy but when I had save enough money, they no longer made them and they are really hard to find.
The sequins are a bit blingy but I usually wear sober black so I can carry off a bit of sparkle. I am, at some stage, going to replace the sequins with Xhosa beadwork which will be more subtle and closer to my roots.

And below, two photographs of the genuine article.
And below is Xhosa beadwork, from the Eastern Cape of South Africa, where I was born and grew up.
Hi Jan, my name is Rowan Gatfield a beadwork researcher from the UK. I’m very interested in the Ndebele beadwork you feature and the images immediately after that. Could we possibly chat about this on email.
Sure – there is a contact form to the right of the page. That will be sent to me as an email and we can take it from there.
I also have Zulu beadwork on my Yeti boots https://thisbugslife.com/2014/01/28/yeti-boots/

Not for sale, sorry but it is beautiful isn’t it?

i sell this bag, if you are interested, my email: di@tamayo-schneider.de
Love the bags but especially the Xhosa beadwork – it is really beautiful! I really don’t think the bags are too blingy considering the amount of black you wear.
