This is the body of a working dog! This dog is something that comes around once in a lifetime – if you are lucky.
Veiligplek Crespo is out of Middelpos Oenno and Afrika Bella, and is owned by Dimitris Efthimiou of Boerboel Greece. He is brother to Cay-Cay and Cuba and was born on 7th August 2012 in Portugal.
Holy mother of … Crespo is amazing! jeez he put a smile on my face.
What a gorgeous boerboel

Hi i’ve just loss my brother Toky(my turkish shepper) and i felt in love with crespo!!!! Just a question: it’s possibile to have some contacts about crespo’ owners because i really want ti adopt one of his puppies! Please let me know!!!!
Yes of course – are you on Facebook? If so, he goes under the name of Boerboels Greece. Otherwise, contact me via email (there is a contact link to the right on my blog) and I can put you in touch with him.
Ok i’ll spend you an email. Thank you so much!
Very nice dog!!!! Wow.. Is he Boerboel cross ridge-back? doesn’t look like a normal Boerboel.. Certainly the nicest dog i have ever seen..
He is gorgeous isn’t he? I love him to bits! He is very unusual looking but is pure Boerboel and a fantastic working dog. Would be interested to see his siblings, Cay-Cay and Cuba nowadays and compare them. Crespo is going to the appraisals in the Netherlands in May. Dying to see how he does.
I have been writing about him since he was a little puppy so if you do a search for ‘Crespo’ you will be able to watch him grow!
What exercises does he do?
He lives and works on a farm so he does plenty of running and guarding the perimeter.
Beautiful animal ♥
That is a real mountain of a dog – looks like a lion! How much does he weigh? And not an ounce of spare flesh on him either…
I have a real soft spot for big dogs. Great Danes, German Shepherds, Irish Wolfhounds, Rottweilers, all those big mastiff types too. We have six dogs at the moment, 3 Golden Retrievers (the biggest, Talwyn, is a 44 Kg girl, a gentle giant of her breed and often mistaken for a male), a Scottish Terrier, a lurcher and a Rottweiler cross pup who is 20Kg at 4.5 months old… we don’t know what his other half of the cross is, so he could be pretty big when he’s full grown, but unlikely to be quite as big as Crespo!
He is not that heavy actually – probably just under 55kg. Odi is bigger – probably about 107kg now (http://thisbugslife.com/2013/04/09/odi-the-boerboel/)
I have always loved big dogs too – mainly Rottweilers and Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
