Filofax Project Update

Hi All!

This is J, some of you may know me from my blog, The Crazy Life of J. Janet has asked me to pop in and introduce myself, as I’ll be managing her amazing Filofax Project. If you haven’t read about it, click HERE to find out more. This is such an amazing and generous project that I am honored and humbled to be a part of. We’ve already received so many fantastic ideas and can’t wait to see what else comes in!

As I mentioned, I blog over at The Crazy Life of J about everything from Filofax Organizers to DIY projects to moving and everything in between. I recently moved to Kentucky with my husband so that he can finish school – meanwhile I’m trying my best to find a job!

But back to what you are really wanting to hear about – the Filofax Project! If you haven’t already, please read Janet’s original post that details the project, organizers available, and rules. Here are a few details as a quick recap:

• You must comment on the original post. Facebook comments will not count as an entry
• Please detail your project idea – remember we are looking for functional use ideas. Decoration is fine, but as Janet detailed, time management ideas are key
• You may specify a specific Filo you are interested in, or simply a size if you are open to anything. If you don’t want a binder, but would like to participate in using one of your own binders for this project, please leave a comment saying so. We’d love to have as many folks as possible participate!

The deadline to comment with your ideas will be 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on Friday, August 23. After the deadline, the ideas will be reviewed and the recipients will be selected and announced on Sunday, August 25. Please remember that to participate, you will be required to write five long posts or 10 short posts detailing your progress with your new planner for This Bug’s Life. If you cannot commit to writing and submitting these posts, please do not offer to participate. After the participants are announced, we will work out the shipping and posting details.

Thank you all for your immense interest, and thank you Janet for not only the generous project concept, but for bringing me on board to help manage the process. I can’t wait to see all of the great ideas that come from this!
