Why English is hard to learn

1. Nicely put – but honestly, I think that English is so much easier to learn than for example French! The latter’s irregularities have tortured my brain during many school years. English instead, as my second language – while not having had it in school – did come much easier to me and that while I was getting the hang of it – being already over 30 years old 🙂
   And shame, all the learning efforts I had to put into all my french lessons – did not pay off – the same with Russian- can’t speak or write a thing in these two languages anymore. That I call wasted time – while I am more than happy seeing the benefits of any English lesson I ever took. Thanks for all the fun-facts!
