Two movies

I cannot normally sit still all the way through a movie, particularly a long one. Because I watch at home, there is always something else that needs doing and I get distracted – unless I am really enjoying the movie.

Two that I enjoyed this past week were Air, about the development of the Nike Air Jordan shoe…

…and Margin Call, which dealt with the 2008 financial crisis. This ensemble cast was brilliant, particularly Jeremy Irons (one of my favourite actors). I also often forget how good an actress Demi Moore is. Even though it was about an investment bank during a financial crisis, it struck me that this is, in a nutshell how the world works. As I have grown older and during present time, I have become more cynical about human nature and the enormously wealthy.

Neither of them are new, but I can recommend. I would also love recommendations of things to watch as it becomes darker and I cocoon.
