Fruda and Biovène Honey Lip balm pots

I normally use stick balms for my lips – generally Carmex, Simply Bee (honey and coconut, yum!) or my beloved Swedish Defence Force Balm which you can also eat, and use to cook your food.

I generally avoid lip balm pots for hygiene and mess reasons, and prefer a stick applicator. But the two honey balms below have such cute pots that I just could not resist. I have so many uses waiting for those gorgeous tiny jars! They can be used to keep earrings, vitamins, tiny keepsakes…

The Biovène Blueberry Hydrating Honey Lip Balm cost €2, and the Frudia Sweet Honey Lip Butter Balm was €7.

The Biovène came with a small honey wand (honey dipper? honey dripper?) which is so cute I will be using it. That will keep the pot more hygienic I believe. The Biovène lid has little hearts dotted at intervals all the way around. The Frudia lid has a raised flower in the middle of the lid.

The Frudia (right)  tastes and smells more like blueberries than honey but it is *amazing* on the lips. It tingles slightly after application and your lips look a little plumper for some reason, possibly because said lips are low-level glowing. The pomegranate version is lightly coloured, which may be my next buy, because that means I can do away with my lip stain. The Biovène tastes and smells like honey (which I love).
