South Africa looks amazing every time I see pictures of the elephant park I’m just amazed at how well disguised the elephant actually is! It doesn’t look as though it has a trunk at all and those stripes are absolutely amazing.

I had a good chuckle at that, thanks Dave! I needed it. Interestingly, I once asked a guide why zebra are so exactly the opposite of camouflaged. They stick out like a sore thumb. He said that when they run, they create an optical illusion so the predators cannot tell where they end and another zebra begins. Isn’t nature smart?
